My Favorite Quote:
“You’re braver than you believe, stronger than you seem and smarter than you think.” Winnie the Pooh
Favorite Movie:
The Polar Express. It isn’t Christmas for my family until we’ve watched this movie.
Favorite Song:
Beginnings by Chicago.
Favorite Sports Team:
Life-long Chicago Bears fan (but my favorite player plays for the St. Rita Mustangs).
Favorite Vacation Destination:
I love taking random “get in the car and go” road trips with my kids when our schedules allow them.
Favorite Book:
Memoirs of a Geisha by Arthur Golden.
Favorite Thing to Do in Chicago:
Watching the White Sox play on a sunny afternoon or fireworks night.
Largest Influence:
My late Grandmother – She was a WWII Vet, an RN and the strongest woman I know.
Favorite Thing to Do for Fun:
I bake things, big family dinners, movies with my kids & I read a lot.
Favorite Food:
I cannot resist caramel apples.
Biggest Accomplishment:
I completed my AAS in Paralegal Studies in less than 2 years while supporting myself and my son, an infant at that time, on 3 part-time jobs.
Why I Work Here:
As a Paralegal, part of my job is to help a client make sense out of the discovery process, which can be tedious, cumbersome, and overwhelming; adding to the stress they are already feeling. This Firm’s approach is a culture shift in the practice of family law, one I believe is long overdue. After I met Brian and the rest of the TRIBE, I knew I wanted to be part of the Divorce With Dignity culture in practice here.
What I Love Most About my Job:
Knowing that, because of what I do, a client has some peace of mind in the middle of what is probably the most stressful time in their life. I also like the challenge of piecing together the financial picture of a complex case.
